Oh, yes! this is a scam. Although they say they are in South Africa, I'll bet they are really in Nigeria, the capital of internet scams! Do not respond to this nor give them your email addy.

Sounds like a classic scam to me, but did you enter this contest? I'd use google to check this "company" for scams, and whatever happens, DO NOT give them any of your personal information or agree to let them ship anything to your home.

Every now and then I check my old email address for spam and I've probably "won" the UK Lottery about 20 times now, and the African Lottery, and countless distant relatives have left me thousands of dollars. This is for sure a scam.Look what they want you to email them, your BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER, the name of the bank. I hope you didnt reply :PAlways always re-think something when somebody asks you for information this sensitive or even money in order for them to give you back money. (Bank accounts/names, social security number, passwords to anything, mothers maiden name, etc...)

HELL YES. Even if you thought lets see how far I can take this I bet you get passed between 2-3 different people/bogus organisations where abruptly you are told the money will be sent to you but you just need to pay $2k in processing fees or courier fees. Also try not to reply to them because they will keep sending you different scam emails a couple of times a year. These scams continue to operate because it feeds into one of the deadly sins "Greed" just like Burger King feeds into one of the other deadly sins "Gluttony"
